Real-Time Status: Round 1 Mock Allotment & Option Editing Active (Sept 17–19, 2026)
Round 1 choice filling concluded on Sept 17 at 9:00 AM. Mock Seat Allotment results are published on September 17, 2026 (after 6:00 PM). Candidates can add, delete, and re-order their priority list until September 19, 2026 (11:59 PM) before Round 1 final allotment.

Typical yearly rhythm
- Notification and registration open: mid-to-late March
- Application window closes: late April, with a short extra window for fee payment
- Admit card released: roughly one to two weeks before the exam
- Exam conducted: late May to mid-June, with MBA/MCA sometimes on a separate date from M.Tech/M.E./M.Arch
- Provisional answer key: within about a week of the exam
- Result: within four to six weeks of the exam
- Counselling: historically staggered across the second half of the year; some past cycles have run PGCET counselling as late as January of the following year, so don't assume a fixed month
