STEP 1

Gather Surrender Dossier

Prepare the official KEA Allotment Letter, original Bank Challan, original Green Card from verification, Verification Slip, and a formal Surrender Letter signed by both candidate and parent.

STEP 2

Visit KEA Malleswaram

Report physically to Karnataka Examinations Authority, 18th Cross, Sampige Road, Malleswaram, Bangalore - 560012 between 10:30 AM and 4:00 PM on any working day before the announced surrender deadline.

STEP 3

Verification & NDC Receipt

Submit your dossier at Counter 1 / Legal Section. The verification officer issues an official No Due Certificate (NDC) and Surrender Acknowledgement with an endorsement stamp.

STEP 4

Document Handover & Refund

If you never reported to the college, KEA releases your original documents on the spot. If you already reported to the college, present the KEA Surrender Acknowledgement at the college principal's office to retrieve your originals within 24 hours.

3. Physical Checklist: Documents Required for KEA Seat Surrender

You must present original copies of all 6 items at the KEA reception desk.

The allotment PDF printed with KEA barcode and allotment details.

The physical Green Card or Verification Slip issued during offline/online document verification.

4. Candidate & Parent Surrender Letter

Joint requisition letter stating reason for surrender (e.g. Joined NIT Surathkal / AIIMS / BITS) with student & parent signatures.

5. Proof of Alternate Admission (JoSAA / NEET / BITS)

Provisional admission letter from IIT/NIT/MCC to substantiate genuine surrender and prevent punitive blacklisting.
